Training Topics for Rec Winter Training

Mini Academy is designed to help teach players the six parts of the foot, develop ball control, learn new skills, and make friends inside of the rink! The rink allows the ball to stay in play continuously.

Junior Academy is based on the PBFC Academy Curriculum. Developmental areas will include mastering introductory skills from the moves list and ball mastery, understanding moments in the game through small sided games, and an environment that emphasizes creativity and growth. Players improve confidence through skill building in training, to then supplement their match play with the PBFC Recreational Program.

U15/U19:  Over the seven sessions, we will be following curriculum topics that will lead to overall player development. The first 60 minutes will focus on individual ball skills and mastery through repetition. The final 30 minutes of each session will be team scrimmage and match play.
